ACCREDITATIONS

ISO 14001:2015

UTM hold the ISO 14001:2015 accreditation which sets out the criteria for an environmental management system. ISO 14001:2015 maps out a framework that UTM follow in order to set up an effective environmental management system. By following ISO 14001:2015 UTM provides assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.

ISO 9001:2015

UTM hold the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation which specifies requirements for quality, environmental and health and safety management systems. The scope of the approval is applicable to Recruitment Services, specialising in the placement of temporary and permanent engineers and allied staff in the renewable energy, oil and gas and smart energy sectors. The achievement of effective management systems will be on the basis of a documented Management System, consisting of procedures and supporting documentation / records. This will ensure all activities are consistently carried out with the minimum of risk and with a view to continually improving activities / processes to further reduce such risk wherever practicable, furthermore will ensure work undertaken is consistently carried out to the customer's requirements.

IMCA

As part of The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA), UTM belong to the international trade association representing companies and organisations engaged in delivering offshore, marine and underwater solutions. Their core purpose is improving performance in the marine contracting industry by championing better regulation and enhancing operational integrity.

As a member of the IMCA, UTM benefits from regular updates, with opportunities for input into the development process. Safety flash system to pass on lessons learned from offshore incidents. A regular newsletter, briefing notes on technical issues, regulatory developments, and appropriate events. We actively encourage all contractors to partake in IMCA’s Freelance Personnel Competence Scheme. The IMCA freelance e-portfolio, made available initially for offshore survey roles in April 2018, provides competence assurance to contractors and their clients. FPAL Achilles

FPAL was set up by the UK oil and gas industry in 1996, it has been helping operators promote successful contract delivery and improve business performance. FPAL operates in the wider European oil and gas market while maintaining its roots in North Sea.

The Hydrographic Society

The Hydrographic Society (THS) is an independent, non-profit making, non-governmental, learned professional society. It provides a forum for all those involved in activities related to hydrography and associated disciplines, both in the UK and overseas. THS UK encompasses a wide range of specialisms and activities.
